Being able to admit when the ego has taken over is a very important part of spiritual practice. One needs to be honest, but not brutally honest. There’s no need to condemn yourself or others for making mistakes. It is possible to move through the mistakes the way we move through emotional pain. You simply allow it to be.
You have no power to change the past, but when you’re present the power to choose is available to you fully. Be the curious observer and go into it with the same curiosity of a small child.
Seeing without judgement is an art, but always remember who is painting the portrait. Be the one who guides the brush. All you need is a gentle push here and there.
