Daily Meds: Story

Our egoic behavior may be supported by friends and family members, so we need to bring awareness in when we tell them our story. One could ask themselves why they are telling it someone else. Hearing it aloud could help you see where the real problem lies. This could be an effective way of bringing in awareness, but telling it over and over again is a sign of over-identification. This means we unconsciously want to relive the painful experience. We may seek out those that will agree with our viewpoint, which will give you a false sense of power but will hinder you in finding the truth. The ego loves this, and will do everything possible to keep you on that karmic hamster wheel. Discovering this is the first step to freedom. In order to solve problems, we need to remove the barriers that keep us from seeing things clearly.
